Denim
My electrical knowledge is limited hence the question. I have just bought a practice amplifier for my guitar. It will work using 3 alternative power sources. 1. Batteries x 6 2 power pack ( as you use with phones ) 3 9 volt adapter cable Will it be safe to the amplifier to connect it to the Thai mains by just plugging it in the wall socket. Thanks. Don't know yet as I got it on Lazada and am still waiting for delivery. Probably ok or they would not include the adapter but I am not sure of the country of manufacture. That's what I thought but my memory is rusty. Didn't want to plug it in and trash it on day one.
Crossy
Do check the adaptor before plugging it in. That said, I've never seen a modern adaptor for sale outside the US that isn't "universal", all ours (and our LED lights) are "90-250V".

Bound to be something written somewhere in the manual.

Look on the label of the adaptor (modern manuals seem to be worse than useless). You may need a magifying glass but it will be there somewhere.
