Can it be installed without much of a modification? If yes, then I would buy it . Have you had the chance to ask another Z250sl 2019 rider regarding the relay? thanks!! They said as long as it's H4 connector it's plug and play. The rectangle thing in the LED set must be a ballast anyway. That'll be my next project too. Sorry, no one seems to know about the LED turn signals. Honestly, I don't really find any need to change it to LED.
alx123
Also, Iv'e installed additional LED brake light on my Givi, this comes with turn signals as well but Im only using the rear light and brake light, the turn signals wire are not connected. Do you have any idea which turn signal relay I have to buy if I just swapped the original for Led ones (2pin, 3pin or with cable connectors). I am right now not in thailand so I can’t check by myself. thanks! Very easy to find. How's the LEd signal lights? My headlight is now starting to peel its coating due to heat from the stock bulb. Might change to LEd soon too, but I'm planning to polish the headlight glass and apply some coating first. Quick updates on the Z250SL @ 15,000 kms now and the bike's running great no problems so far, vibrations also gone. next project will be a little wider tires and an LED headlight Edited June 30, 2020 by alx123 im awesome as usual
Popular Post alx123
One year of usage review Ran only about 5,000+ kms in one year as the PCX remains my daily workhorse. Z250SL is a joy to ride though, vibration's negligible and it has enough power for some short day trips. The SL is stable and will happily cruise at around 120-130kph. Engine is quite and relax at 80-90 kph, which I'm mostly at. This bike sounds like a cat purring during acceleration, instead of a roaring tiger. I haven't tested the max speed still, I'm too p###y for it LOL. It's small enough for city filtering, though the engine can get a little hot in traffic (the fan is loud too, people are looking????). Acceleration from this 250 single is actually slightly better than its twin counterparts, even against the Z300. The Kawa twins like to rev higher, that's when its pull kicks in, while the SL's power kicks in from the lower to mid gears. I test drove a ninja 300 and I can instantly feel the difference in revving character of the 2 bikes. The SL pulls from low to mid, the Z300 screams and pull in higher revs. I changed the headlight to LED, the stock bulb is hot, it peels off the headlight's coating. If still under warranty, Kawasaki will change peeled headlight assembly for free. I removed the rear Givi, I think it doesnt suit the bike's look. Still planning to changed the tires, but the stock Dunlops are still okay and it's grip is decent. Brakes, with ABS, is reassuring. Suspensions are not that bad, the rear shock is pre-load adjustable. The pillion seat is too small, but Iv'e added foam and made it a little wider - this bike is not made for pillion long distance riding though. Overall, this is a good starter bike, esp for smaller people (like me). At 150 kgs, it's easy enough to move around but stable at higher speed. I'm gonna use this for maybe another year before I feel like I need a bigger one, or who knows I might just keep the bike longer.
