Thai honesty: Man praised for leaving note about accident

Recommended Posts

Congratulations to the driver. I suspect that most people (both in Thailand and abroad) would have simply driven off given a chance to get away unseen.

Great honesty, indeed. I haven't seen many "hit and runs" in Thailand, but plenty abroad. It always baffles me how dishonest people can be.

The two parties later got together and it was all settled amicably as both were insured.

No need to escape.

A simple gesture of courtesy, plus important to get in touch for insurance claims. Why is this even a news item?

Perhaps to encourage others to do the correct thing

Why did this have to be headlined "Thai honesty"? Because ONE out of 23 million motorists for once did what was right, good and decent... while the other 22,999,999 would've immediately fled the scene, including those "praisers"?

Ops, the honesty in Thailand is really great! 😗
How many escape from the scene of the accident they caused without even caring if the victims need help?
