Bronnie
I have a valid work permit, but will be finishing work in Thailand on the day it expires. Do I need to surrender the work permit at the department of labour or can I just let it expire?

problemfarang
You have 2 options: 1) leave it with your company. Its also their duty to cancel it. 2) if you want to play safe or fast take it to the labor office by yourself. In any case, dont forget to get a letter from your company mentioning your last day of work in the company.
