PHUKET:-- A 3,000-ton ship seized off Phuket in September with eight Thais on board will be sent to the renowned Chittagong Ship Breaking Yard at Cox’s Bazar in Bangladesh to be broken apart.

The news broke after a meeting in Phuket today (Nov 14) between Marine Department Director-General Withaya Yamoung and Warawut Thangsuk, the owner of PK Shipping and Agency Co Ltd, which is the current owner of the ship.

At the time the ship was seized by Navy personnel seven miles off Phuket on Sept 14, it was presented on its AIS transmitter as the Uthaiwan, but was previously sailed under the name Wisdom Sea Reefer.

Use the new submarines to sink it target practice

Could be an impossible idea.  Remember they bought the aircraft carrier, at considerable expense, then bought second-hand used Harriers but forgot to buy the necessary spare parts that would be needed.  Maybe, the submarines came with no torpedoes.

'nuf sed.
