Why not? That seems to be the standard set by the left nowadays. If Biden did nothing wrong then why the big fuss?

If there is no dirt, then there's no issue, right?

The Republican’s star witness Kurt Volker has just testified under oath that the whole Biden accusation were fake.

He did so right after the Republicans has finished praising his integrity, unique access to the events and all round credibility.

There's some obvious trolling going on. It's best to ignore it.

He said they were "not credible" he did not say they were "fake".

You know what else he said? No indication of Quid Pro Quo, Bribery, or Extortion. He said that.

Sooo the Democrat clown-show continues.

Not at all. Sondland's opening written statement is incredible and the testimony will be worth staying up late for.

Right!

"I know that members of this Committee have frequently framed these complicated issues in the form of a simple question: Was there a “quid pro quo?” As I testified previously, with regard to the requested White House call and White House meeting, the answer is yes."

This is an impeachment inquiry, articles of impeachment have not being written yet.

And YES one of them will be that he abused his power and used the wrong channels.

Good luck with that. It'll never work and Trump is gonna complete his term.

Can you please use your great prognosticating abilities for good instead of evil :cheesy:

Yeah you're right but his public performance will be much more important as far as potential to move public opinion.

It was understood by who, Volker and Morrison stated no "quid pro quo", nothing related to bribery. Their statements aren't hearsay, there was "no demand" for anything.

"But it was fully understood isn't evidence.

Oops - Sondland recanted. He now says black and white there WAS a quid pro quo.

Right. They were not credible because they were not fake? They were just false.? But unintentionally false? Unintentional falsehoods springing from 3 indicted lowlifes, Fruman, Parnas, and Firstash.

Keep up people. In his written opening statement, Sondland clearly said "We were all aware of what was going on and there was a quid pro quo."

Sondland testimony targets Trump, Pompeo and confirms deal with Ukraine

Gordon Sondland, the American ambassador to the E.U., is pointing the finger at President Donald Trump, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and former national security adviser John Bolton in explosive public testimony on Wednesday in which he says explicitly that there was a "quid quo pro" linking a White House visit by Ukraine's president to investigations into a political opponent of the president.

Under fire from all sides after multiple witnesses contradicted his earlier deposition, Sondland blames everyone but himself for the pressure campaign on Ukraine now driving impeachment proceedings against Trump. He plans to show up for his televised hearing with reams of new text messages and emails he said prove the highest levels of the White House and the State Department were in on it.

Also, let's not forget how bad Volker's testimony was for Trump:

How Republicans' star impeachment witness turned on them

Former US Special Envoy to Ukraine Kurt Volker was widely seen as Republicans' impeachment ace in the hole. On Tuesday on Capitol Hill, it didn't work out that way.

Volker's opening statement repeatedly acknowledged that statements he made during his October 3 closed-door deposition in front of House investigators had been not fully informed.
