I remember Edwina Currie and the egg scandal.
When she was at Oxford University, she had a fling with John Major. Edwina Currie described John Major as a perfect gentleman, as when they shared a bath together, he sat with his back against the taps.

She had to resign over that egg fiasco. But 10 years later she was proved to be right.

I thought John Major was a bit mean to her. Didn't mention her in his book.

Getting on a bit now, but I wonder if she is as hairy as Ali G said she was.

Didn't John Major also have an affair with Edwina Currie later on in life when he was married? Perhaps that's why he didn't mention her?

Can you enlighten us regarding the Ail G reference - or a link?

During the Ali G series on TV, he made reference to people he thought could be hairy. I recall it because I had often fantasied about her being hairy. I'll have to revisit the series and report back. John M would know I'm sure.

Note: A lovely hairy lady. But not Edwina.

When I saw the three half-litre bottles of chloroform I thought they might before the MiLaws,it was only then that I noticed you spelt chloroform incorrectly!

It's my age. Have to ask the spellchecker all the time.

Sorry everyone. Chlorophyll; green stuff in a bottle. Or just eat leaves.

I can't blame my age I've always been <deleted> at spelling, chloroform is the stuff to put people to sleep! My post must have been a lofty one to go over your head or maybe it just wasn't as funny as I thought it would be.I like to take my chlorophyl through a bong for medicinal purposes.

Spent a few hours at the farm today on my own.

Tried something new with Mildred's old phone. Not mastered sound yet.

A look around the farm house. 36 seconds .

Your right the sound needs work perhaps some reverb and compression on the footsteps perhaps even some delay would be nice?

Yes FFF.

I showed Mildred the vid and she said that the volume of sound could be adjusted. So next time it should be ticky-boo. The one below I did at the same time. Have to learn to hold the phone still too.

But what to do with the tubes? Well I've got it sorted: Used drinking straws and cable ties.

The plan eventually is to put different colour straws into different tubes.

Tried planting different stuff. The problem being that the tube gradually gets waterlogged. In the end it's only fit for the bin. I've also tried putting a small plastic bag into them but the water seeps through the drain holes in the bags; again rendering them useless. No! Not suitable for general planting. Maybe a small plant that thrives in damp soil.

Used drinking straws is the best use I've found for them. Got a couple of tubes in the kitchen; one with chop-sticks and t'other with cashew nuts.

If any posters can come up with good things to do with the tubes, please post.

This is like Blue Peter all over again! What do you do with Val's old knickers?

I do worry about the amount of Pringles you seem to buy. Is that a week or a month's worth, Owl?

I buy one every week. But! If there is a special; buy two get one free, then I would get three.

The ones featured were probably a few month's collection.

When the children pile in they generally help themselves. Don't last long in our house.

With the straws you could make Amazon Amazin' plastic glasses:

Plastic DIY Drinking Straw Eyeglasses Silly Straw Glasses ...

Ah yes straws!

The Pringle tubes are prefect for storing away used straws. Of course if the straw is too short then the tube can be cut down so the top 30mm sticks out. But for me personally, I only save the ones featured.

If I need a different type or size I usually buy them.

I've got a used straw but I'm not sticking it in a used Pringles tube they're too small.Sorry I've been posting a lot on the "Sexy tours" thread now I can't get the subject off my mind.
