Another topic which can not be answered because information is incorrect or missing.  There is no "retirement visa".

 

Also further heresy, a friend was informed... by his neighbor's dog....

 

Finally this topic has been beaten to death several times and is covered in other threads.

Or, on the other hand,  the hospitals realize how much money they lose if long-stay farang with the resources to pay are prevented from staying here because they don't want to pay excessive premiums for dubious Thai insurance.
