glen 0 #1 Posted November 19 Hi, My Non OA retirement visa extension expires 8 Feb 2020. I'm having reservations about staying here for personal reasons. If I go to Cambodia or Lao or Malaysia in late January 2020 and return by first week of Feb 2020 to Don Muang does this mean I get another year? Or does the Feb 8 expiry date still apply? Thanks in advance, Glen
jacko45k 11,696 #2 Posted November 19 You will need to have a Re-Entry permit to re-enter Thailand on the retirement extension. You will only be stamped in up to the date shown on the re-entry permit, which is the same as the permission on your extension.... 8th Feb 2020.
ProbPossConf 56 #3 Posted November 19 The Feb 8 expiry date still apply, unless you try to enter without a re-entry permit.
scubascuba3 3,844 #4 Posted November 19 I'm sure I've read threads where people say you can get up to 2 years from an O-A?

But I am not sure what the OP has since he wrote extension of a OA visa. If he means his OA visa expires on February 8th he would get a new one year entry if he enters the country on or before that date. If his visa has already expired and he is on the 2nd year he would need a re-entry permit to keep it valid but would only be stamped in until the February 8th using it.
