Bangkok has been named the most favourite leisure city in the world in 2019 over Tokyo and Sanya by Business Traveller China magazine, Governor Assawin Kwanmuang posted on his official Facebook page on Monday (November 18).

Huay Sriwirat, aged 76, accompanied by her lawyer Ananchai Chaidet, today (November 19) filed a lawsuit at Phra Khanong Civil Court against KasikornBank, four bank employees and her own daughter for allegedly withdrawing more than Bt250 million from her bank account by using fake documents.

The National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) has collaborated with Innopolis and World Tech Enterprise to open the Musc-WTE-Gerstel: Food Innopolis Learning Centre of Flavour and Aroma at Mahidol University’s faculty of science in response to the needs of private entrepreneurs and to improve the food flavour industry in Thailand, Akkharawit Kanjana-Opas, NSTDA’s assistant director and Food Innopolis’ chief executive officer, revealed at a joint press conference this week.

Forest Dept. chief misled into approving the felling of healthy trees on road in Phang-nga

The Royal Forest Department has ordered a fact-finding investigation into how 11 healthy, decades-old Yang Na trees, along a road in Takua Thung district of the southern province of Phang-nga, were said to be dying and were cut down by officials from the Forest Industry Organization, with approval of the department’s chief.
