JERUSALEM (Reuters) - Israel's ruling right-wing government on Tuesday moved swiftly to embrace Washington's backing for Israeli settlements, even as Palestinians and Arab leaders said it was a threat to the international rule of law.

TAT invites travellers to apply for Thailand e-visa online

Bangkok – The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) would like to inform travellers from 18 nations, entitled for visa-on-arrival to Thailand, that they are able to apply for a Thailand e-visa online and take advantage of the Royal Thai Government’s visa-on-arrival fee waiver scheme.

HONG KONG (Reuters) - Anti-government protesters holed up in a Hong Kong university searched for escape routes on Tuesday after more than two days of clashes with police, dramatic breakouts by rope and motorcycle and more than 1,000 arrests in 24 hours.

DUBAI (Reuters) - Amnesty International said on Tuesday that more than 100 protestors had been killed in 21 cities in Iran during unrest that broke out over a rise in fuel prices last week.

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Two jail officers falsified records to cover up their failure to check in on accused sex offender Jeffrey Epstein in the hours before the financier killed himself, U.S. prosecutors said on Tuesday.

Further drop in temperature in upper Thailand, more rain in the South

A new high-pressure trough has moved over upper Thailand and the South China Sea, the Thailand Meteorological Department said on Wednesday (November 20) and will bring a drop of 1-3 degrees Celsius to the North along with strong winds.
