Gov’t to nominate Songkran as intangible cultural heritage

BANGKOK (NNT) - Continuing our stories on natural resource conservation, the Cabinet has agreed to nominate Khorat Geopark for consideration by UNESCO as a world geopark. On the conservation of local arts and culture, the Ministry of Culture will be proposing to the Cabinet the nomination of the Songkran Festival as an aspect of intangible cultural heritage to the UNESCO.

TAT plans grandest countdown at ICONSIAM

New MP to replace disqualified Thanathorn in seven days

HONG KONG (Reuters) - Some anti-government protesters trapped inside a Hong Kong university on Wednesday tried to flee through the sewers, where one student said she saw snakes, but firemen prevented further escape bids by blocking a manhole into the system.
