lscottbutler
Hey All, Just moved into a townhouse with a Water Tank & Pump System. I swear the thing is possessed. Pump cycles on every 40 seconds for 10 seconds even when no water is being used in the house, air gets into the system and causes the washing machine to malfunction, the tank overflows even with the new float valve. Does anyone know what might be causing the tank to overflow even with the brand new Float Valve installed? Does anyone know of a professional water tank repair company? I'm in the Suk 101 area. Crossy
Some photos of what you have would be handy. My money is on an open/malfunctioning bypass valve. Of course, this assumes it has worked in the past. If not all bets are off.
bankruatsteve
After the water in the tank goes down a bit, open the top so you can see the float. Turn on the water supply and then lift the float until it shuts off supply. If too high then adjust. If it just flops around, then the holding nut wasn't tight when installed. Thainesss
Sounds like more than one problem. Pictures are needed.
