Being a closet anarchist I have always had a healthy disrespect for most institutions but especially politicians and governments, the police, the civil service, the armed forces, immigration....and banks. The last of these was everywhere one looked in the Thai news this week.

PHUKET: Two key national figures for worker safety have assured that state compensation is forthcoming for those injured and the families of those killed in the building collapse in Phuket on Thursday that claimed seven lives and left two injured in hospital.

Eastern Polymer cuts revenue target but confident of jump in profits
