A Swiss man's wife in Hua Hin became concerned when he didn't come home on time after going out to buy medication, food and fruit on Saturday.

The lady - described as a foreigner in the Naew Na report -  went out with a friend and found him slumped over the steering wheel of his Honda Jazz outside the Miti Mai drugstore in Soi 101.

In the car with him were twoThai breed dogs.

Police who arrived at the scene around 2 pm on Saturday ascertained he had been dead for about an hour.

He was named as 65 year old Renzo N., A Swiss national who had been living in Soi 9_.

Naew Na called him a tourist though he had a Thai driving license.

Police expect he died from natural causes though an autopsy will be undertaken at the Police Hospital.
