Social media in comment-fest after Thai boxer KO's three men in Chanthaburi

A Thai boxer who intervened in an effort to stop three men arguing ended up being hit himself. 

 

He then decided enough was enough - he knocked out all three of them with his fists. 

 

Social media comment in Chanthaburi where the incident took place in the early hours of Sunday was divided. 

 

Some said it served the men right, others thought that the boxer should not have used his boxing prowess.

Krissana, 26, who has the ring name "Petch Thong Thua", said he was unable to control himself after he was hit during the scuffle. 

 

He apologized for knocking the men out and bringing Thai boxing into disrepute. 

 

The men recovered without apparent serious injury and have not filed a report with police. 

 

It is believed that the incident will be settled amicably with some wais and apologies.
