djayz
Might be interesting for people who know nothing about irrigation (like me). https://www.udemy.com/share/101Cv4/
Grumpy John
It's not that hard. The main thing is when you know the pump engine HP to then get you pipe the right size for the Distance to be covered. I would imagine all that info is online these days. Firstly, I'll have a lot of time to kill between Xmas and NYD; secondly, it'll be a learning experience and finally, I'm pretty sure I'll do a good job of it. Thian
I replace mine every few years...only that black hose lasts very long...the rest not. The system i have now also isn't good, i have rotating sprinklers on poles but sometimes they stop rotating....or the weed is growing high and blocks them.... I'm thinking of a new system and this time i want a bullet proof one...so no animals/insects/kids can damage it. i want a hose about 1 meter high above all the raised beds with sprayers inside the hose.... This will be connected to a timer and that's it... For the plants in pots i have another system which is quite bulletproof but kids like to play with the orange colored valves and Thai mothers just let them do it....so i painted them black which works.
