advancebooking
Chanthaburi is known for its Gems and fruit. If you're visiting the city there are many excellent cafe options. I thought I'd briefly share my opinions and photos below. Obviously I can't list them all.... Street names will not be provided as you can use Google Maps for this. Evidently I will not be winning any photography awards. In no particular order here we go: 'Salon de Kalim' A relatively new French style cafe/ restaurant. Delicious cakes on offer here. 'Kays Espresso Bar' A stylish/ trendy cafe with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Nice cakes on offer. Sit outside to avoid the music. 'Mililin' This cafe/ restaurant offers quality tea, coffee and food. Located on the river. Highly recommended. 'Koff House' - A fine option for quality tea with views of the river. Large open space with high ceilings. They offer a nice waffle dish with strawberries, banana & ice cream... 'Doi Chang cafe' Small interior but larger outdoor area with 'water views' located near the bus station area of the city. Small selection of cakes on offer here are ok. 'Good smell' cafe Located near Saritdidet school in a historic style house. They do a great milk green tea here. 'Thai Denmark Milk land' Located close to Kays cafe, this is a new option offering nice cakes, yoghurt / fresh milk etc. 'Tree house' cafe This cafe is located 5 to 10min out of the city. Smallish indoor area but large outdoor options including a raised area amongst the tree branches. Kids will enjoy patting the resident rabbits. Highly recommended. Please add photos/ comments if you can recommend any other options. cheers
