WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Democrats in the U.S. House of Representatives were expected to unveil two articles of impeachment against Republican President Donald Trump on Tuesday, a senior Democratic aide said, setting the stage for a possible vote this week on impeachment.

Southern state of emergency being extended by three months

PHUKET: Vachira Phuket Hospital Director Dr Chalermphong Sukhonthaphon has confirmed that three-month-old baby Phakawadee Charnkol will receive free corrective surgery to the little finger on her left hand after a nurse’s assistant accidentally cut it with a pair of scissors, leading to the tip of the finger starting to rot – and eventually fall off.

Thai Health Promotion Foundation launches anti-smoking campaign

BANGKOK (NNT) - Starting on December 9, all cigarette products sold in Thailand come in standardized, plain packaging, with packs stripped of distinctive designs and logos, in an effort to reduce the appeal of tobacco consumption. The Thai Health Promotion Foundation and its network of partners have launched an anti-smoking campaign, after a new study found that smokers are admitted to hospitals more than 500,000 times, at a total medical cost of 21 billion baht.

The answer by Thailand’s Paweensuda “Fahsai” Drouin – who finished among the top 5 – at the Miss Universe 2019 finale in Atlanta, Georgia, has led to the observation that the question asked at the pageant this year touched more on politics. But some feel that politics and the pageant should be separated, blaming the government and “Uncle Too” (the prime minister) as being the reason why Fahsai could not answer the final question freely.
