More details have emerged in the case of a 22 year old Chonburi woman who ripped-off at least a dozen men who acted as guarantors putting down payment on pick-ups.

Busakham Saithong or "Muay" had a fake profile picture of a beautiful woman to entrap men on a dating site.

Once hooked by promises of offering to live together she got them to help her buy pick-ups - sometimes even two.

Then she disappeared with the vehicles leaving a trail of men in her wake at the mercy of finance companies as their names were on the documents.

Don Hua Lor police chief Pol Col Anukan Thammawijan told 77kaoded that Muay had worked as a bank employee in his jurisdiction for about a year.

After leaving her employment she went on the dating app Jaumo.

This site promises: "Make genuine connections" and "By real people, for real people".

Muay was anything but that.

The chief said that at least one of the vehicles was secured in Don Hua Lor and that if it is not returned by December 20th a warrant will be issued for the arrest of Muay.

77kaoded said that 12 men have so far come forward but there are thought to be others who have not reported to police because of the shame of being ripped off by this woman.

An earlier report was lodged with the Samed police, also in Chonburi province.

Who would do paperwork snd sign contracts to buy a csr or truck for someone they met on a dating site?? Damn you want a beauty just flash a bunch cash at any club...at least you actually get a girl! Guess they deserve all the "shame" for being stupid, and thinking with wrong head.

Basically she has not done anything wrong. She ask for cars and “idiots” got her cars.

Yes she has:
she misled them, by pretending to be a lover who is prepared to live with them.

Anyways, to all lonesome men out there, keep your money in your pockets unless you are renting by the hour for a friendly few bahts.

Isn't that how many Farangs get "scammed" but usually it involves a longer time line and a lot more than just a pick-up truck.

Can't realy see what what "crime" she as committed.

As i understand, in the case of the woman here, there was not even real life contact, and a fake photo was used. These men literally got nothing in return.
