The chief of the Law Council of Thailand has expressed his disagreement with the Election Commission's petition to the Constitution Court, seeking dissolution of Future Forward Party overs its leader Thanathorn Juangroongruangkit allegedly illegally granting loans to the party.

Land and building tax collection postponed to Aug 2020

BANGKOK(NNT) - After the government approved new regulations under the Land and Building Tax Act, due to take effect on January 1, the Ministry of the Interior has announced that actual tax collection will commence in August 2020, rather than the previous schedule of April 2020.

BANGKOK(NNT) - The Ministry of Public Health is advising the general public to wear protective masks and avoid exercising outdoors due to the rising PM 2.5 airborne dust level. Provinces are instructed to monitor local air quality and consider opening an emergency medical and healthcare center should the local PM 2.5 level exceed 75 micrograms per cubic meter for more than three days.

WELLINGTON (Reuters) - New Zealand police said on Saturday they would search in the waters near the volcanic White Island in their attempts to retrieve two remaining bodies, following a fatal eruption earlier this week.

Premchai granted bail, but must wear EM ankle bracelet
