very good news pelosi and her bunch getting cold feet to proceed with impeachment, thus imo the president is not impeached yet . imo no impeachment til articles being passed on to the senate.

It's not cold feet. Only trying to get some leverage to get a fairer trial and if that fails then to publicize that it will be a FIXED trial.

To have witnesses at the trial, particularly Mulvaney and Bolton.

All it takes is a few republican votes to force this on McConnell.

As if McConnell is going to go against his own interests. 3 more judges just got confirmed.

How are judges in any way relevant to this thread.

Moscow mitch will act as per the oath he gives prior to the hearing wont he? Or you think its ok he perjures himself.

Yang was a refreshing breath of fresh air in an otherwise lackluster event.

He has the clearest of mind among the others. He always give the most simple and easy to understand solutions. Unfortunately his ideas are just too ahead of times especially under current political quagmire and focus on defeating Trump.

He's very likeable. Perhaps he has a future in stand up comedy?

Yeah, how dare they want witnesses with first hand knowledge to get to the truth. The nerve of them.

well the dems appointed 3 judges 1 a constituional one, who said that about impeachment not as long as articles were not handed over to the senate.

Calm down. Nobody has said they will be permanently held up. Of course they will be transmitted sooner or later, probably sooner. So any way you cut it -- yes, he is IMPEACHED.

Who cares? Like I said it will be transmitted so you're just playing academic games. A delay does NOT mean never.

The issue seems to be that per the clear wording in the Constitution, the House has sole responsibility for the process up until the point that the President is impeach, and the Senate has sole responsibility for the process after the President is impeached. It makes no mention of it needing to be sent to the Senate by the house.

So the argument is that there are only  two possible scenarios:

1. As the House has not sent it up, the President is not actually impeached.

And

2. The President is impeached, and the House has no more authority over the process, and the Senate can do as it pleases with it.

Either way it’s a win for the House, as Nancy will say the evil Republicans coerced her into expediting the release or having the vote cancelled, or that the Evil Republicans are again weaponizing the Constitution to undermine democracy.

The press will support her either way it goes.

You passed Trump’s loyalty test bigly. Most ordinary people will be able feel shame and indignation.

I passed Obama’s loyalty test as well.

Why should I feel shame and indignation, because the left thinks I should?
