Compare countries where it is allowed for men and women to run equally and I doubt you will find much of a difference.

Again, I'm not following your logic. Of course the studies only look at countries where women and men are allowed to serve as leaders. You can't do a comparison of women's and men's performance as leaders in countries where women can't hold leadership positions, there'd be nothing to compare.

So you're asking for proof of why a Russian propaganda news outlet is not reliable.

The claim was not that it was unreliable, but that it was 100% fiction, which is  clearly a lie, yes?

Even CNN is not 100% fiction, they always get the date right.

"Greta Thunberg obviously scares some men silly. The bullying of the teenager by conservative middle-aged men has taken on a grim, almost hysterical edge. And some of them are reaching deep into the misogynist’s playbook to divert focus from her message."

Recognise anyone?

A middle aged man belittling other, unseen, middle aged men for not believing a teenage drop-out even though he himself believes 97% of all middle aged men doing climate science, from the party of equality.

Easy to recognize someone on the left.

On the left as in having empathy for others and wanting a fairer society or on the right as in "I'm alright, stuff you."

Quite, but what is the connection here with Obama saying that "women are indisputably better than men" ?

That must be why conservatives consistently donate more of their time and money to helping the poor than do leftists.

Am I the only one that finds it hilarious that (apparently) the left’s reason women aren’t already running the World is because men won’t let them..

Seriously?

As we say at home country : "the situation is desperate, but not serious".

Seriously?

I think it's also funny in context of *diversity* and the 2020 Democrat nomination. Democrat primary voters have kicked the *diverse* candidates to the curb in favor of white people, mostly old.

In Barack Obama's case, I doubt he's being sincere about women. If he were, he wouldn't have paid men higher than women by double digits.

Men are the lifeblood the world runs on.

I can't imagine what a female-run world would look like.

Britain under Thatcher and May, Pakistan, Bangladesh and India under female PMs. NZ under Clark, Australia under that red headed woman.

However, on the whole they didn't mess it up any worse than men would have done, but they didn't do a better job, which is what Obama is suggesting would happen.

The intention of the statement was very clear, you're just catching flies now.

He should have made it clear it was an opinion. If I didn't say that what I write is opinion, you'd probably have been all over every post I write attacking me for it, and if not you, some of the other anti Trumpers probably would have been.

I agree that true communism has never been in operation, but that's never going to happen, as power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. The only reason democracies are tolerable is that we can vote them out, so they have to pretend that they care about us, the voters.

If AI becomes good enough, perhaps an AI ruler will do better for us.

why can't there be a democratic communism?

I thought communism was "left". They weren't very empathetic or fair to the millions they murdered in pursuit of their leftist agenda, were they?

Perhaps you'd like to redefine your opinion of "left".

Communism is only one form of "left", something that Americans find very difficult to understand having being brought up on Macrthyism and "reds under the beds" creating a national, hysterical paranoia about any ideoligy left of centre. Call someone a Socialist in Europe and they are more than likely to take it as a compliment rather than villification. It's all about degrees of left.

The Labour Party, in the UK, has always been a socialist party, fighting for better pay and conditions for British workers, the UK has benefited greatly from their ministeries such as the NHS and the welfare state. More recently the Labour party has been taken to the far left and abandoned the working class values it was founded on, something it has just been severely punished for.

Scandinavian countries have been traditionally socialist and, due to this, have built societies that are the envy of the world.

Socialism isn't something to be feared, it's something to be envied but I doubt that an American would ever understand that.

I don't subscribe to communism, but its true essence is equality for all.  True communism has never been practiced by any country in the history of the world.  Those that have tried (and continue to do so) are mostly totalitarian governments or outright dictatorships.  If government has too much power, then the people running the government will almost always become corrupt.  Perhaps in the far distant future, humankind can evolve to the point of being able to properly administer a society that guarantees equality for all.  We're just not there yet.

You need to examine the countries that have adopted Communism. Where they were then and where they are now. Communism is a means to an end not a final solution, the majority of communist countries are finding it hard to let go having enacted the cure for the evils that they were suffering from at the time, almost all of which had been impoverished by the dictatorships that they had been ruled by at the time. Russia, China, Cuba and Vietnam are all different but good examples of this.

Not at all. As said true communism has never being practiced by any country and as such has never failed.

There are huge interests invested in Capitalism, such interests will never allow communism to succeed anywhere. even in a tiny country such as Cuba.

Anywhere communism was tried it has being sabotaged by capitalists interests, and in order that it defends itself against such attacks it degrades to totalitarianism.

Name one country that tried communism that was left along to either succeed or fail?

What a ridiculous argument.

True capitalism has never been practiced either.

Is there any county in the world that has anything close to s free market?

Name one capitalist country that has been left alone to either succeed or fail,

The only thing ridiculous is you lack of understanding.

My argument was not that true communism was not practiced, but that it was never allowed  to be practices and succeed or fail on its own merits, because of vested capitalist interests.

Where there were no vested communist interests to subvert capitalism. If a true capitalist system has never existed is not because of vested communist interests  sabotage.
