nokkeo
Hi everybody, I got retirement visa within Thailand based on 800k baht in Thai bank account, unfortunately my balance felt under the limit so I can't obtain the 1 year extension. My question is , can I ask for a 1 month extension instead? Thank
elviajero
Not based on retirement. You can get 60 days, but only if you are the spouse or parent of a Thai.
jacko45k
By the sound of it you have a current retirement Extension and it is due to expire and you want to pursue another extension? (Or do you have a Non-Imm-O issued in Thailand?) As I see it you will need to show 800k in a Thai bank account that has been there for 2 months? There is no 1 month extension available. If you can re-enter Thailand on Visa Exempt (if you qualify), you can obtain a 30 day Permit to Stay, and one extension of 30 days, then look to obtain a conversion to Non-Imm-O entry and then a retirement extension.
