Many sites i have looked at appear to be more exspensive for flight then a package holiday. Also looking for cheap accomodation in patong beach if anyone has suggestions. All ideas greatly appreciated.
ThaiAdventure
Last year when I went to Phuket it was cheaper to fly to Bangkok and buy an internal ticket to Phuket at the airport. I was quoted £1500 for the whole route in the UK. Ended up paying £550.
GlenTuk
I got some flights for Khun Wifey, Me and our son, Return from London Hthrw for GBP 1200 ! not bad for two adults and a 5 yr old, also this is in peak holiday time ie begining of Aug when the UK schools break up and flights aren't cheap ! However there is a down side -- It's with Royal Jordanian via Amman with a two hour stopover plane change etc etc i am a bit concerned over security, But i have been told everything is well undercontrol and i am well covered with insurance !!.. I have stayed in Phuket at the Sawsdee Apartments i remember them being affordable/Air Con/TV & Clean just off Patong..Sorry can't remember how much though.... Happy Fare hunting.

sevinnow
Try www.airlinenetwork.co.uk I use them 3/4 times a year going out in 3 weeks cost: £373.00 plus tax. Buy a ticket at Bangkok Airport with Thai Airways at the Domestic Departure Lounge believe they have about 6 flights a day. Once in Phuket steer clear of the touts at the airport selling you a mini-bus to Patong it takes about 2 hours(dropping all the other passengers off) just walk outside the terminal and get a taxi 500 baht and 20 mins. Also try to fly with one of the Star Allience Airlines they have about 12 supporting Airline Companies and save those airmiles because every 5 times you go to LOS and back from you have enough air miles for a "freebie". Enjoy Sev

Rinrada
This outfit is advertising a flight to Bangers from London for £278..... I dont know who with (prob.Iraqi or Afganistani Airways)but worth a call.. Best I could get on a couple of dates was KLM as follows: London (LHR) - Amsterdam (AMS) 1545 - 04 Jun 2003 1805 - 04 Jun 2003 Klm Royal Dutch Airlines 1020 Q Amsterdam (AMS) - Bangkok (BKK) 2000 - 04 Jun 2003 1150 - 05 Jun 2003 Klm Royal Dutch Airlines 0877 Q SELECT IN Journey Departure Time Arrival Time Airline Class Bangkok (BKK) - Amsterdam (AMS) 2300 - 11 Jun 2003 0525 - 12 Jun 2003 Klm Royal Dutch Airlines 0878 Q Amsterdam (AMS) - London (LCY) 0655 - 12 Jun 2003 0710 - 12 Jun 2003 Klm Royal Dutch Airlines 1553 Q OPERATED BY KLM CITYHOPPER QUOTATION Adults Children Infants Total Base Price £ 360.22 Tax £ 67.00 Totals £ 427.22 £ 0.00 The TAX is £67.00...Recon this is getting stupid and can see the time when the fare is say £300 R/T and the "airport -Security-toilet attendants tips-fresh air TAX" is MORE than the origional airfare Anyway... http://www.fareworldtravel.com/
