Popular Post ivor bigun 4,024
Well i thought i would start the year with a Christmas carol ,i cant believe what i just watched ,(all 15 mins of it) Bob Cratchet married to a black woman ,Tiny Tim is a Dwarf? can i say that ? a boy urinating on Scrooges grave and swearing . what a load of utter rubbish . Charles Dickens must be turning in his grave ,why do they have to ruin a good story? PS. I also watched the remake of Worzal Gummage, I quite enjoyed that ,no Problem at all with having Kids of colour as his friends,(its modern days not the 1800 hundreds ) little bit of preaching about the plastic ,but again no problem . faraday 11,648
Yet another Dracula show; done by the beeb you can be sure it'll all be politically correct, & gender sensitive.
faraday 11,648
Just looked at the cast of Dracula - kind of proves my point, that the beeb represent everyone & everything. Or am I just too cynical...? Edited January 2, 2020 by faraday

ivor bigun 4,024
Managed half an hour of Dracula ,sorry that was enough ,what a load of "all the bases covered" <deleted>. apart from that ,it was not very good either .

Popular Post Jai Dee 3,701
The whole extended family watched Maleficent: Mistress of Evil last night and enjoyed it thoroughly. Unfortunately I could not find any Thai subs for it yet.
Ventenio 2,171
I thought Dracula was worth a watch. maybe 7/10. Not great, not first season of Game of Thrones level.....but usually it's 100% garbage Dracula stuff and I thought some of the acting wasn't bad. it's free.... and it got me to read Bram Stoker's book, so that's something. this one is interesting.....very bi-polar reviews. i'll watch episode 2 and maybe i'll see the light.
giddyup 16,317
Pretty slim pickings as far as decent new movie releases go, but there's always a plethora of low budget horror movies available. Who is the target market for all that rubbish, stoners who live in front of the TV?
JHolmesJr 10,965
New series started: The Gloaming Scandi style murder mystery set in Tasmania...liking it so far. Also a fascinating doco called Root Cause that draws puts forward some compelling evidence to suggest that dental hygiene can be linked to many chronic diseases of the heart, kidneys, MS etc etc. The only time a surgeon leaves dead tissue in the body is during dental surgery...thats the starting point of the hypothesis.
