A couple of recent movies that I liked:-

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt3513548/?ref_=nv_sr_srsg_0

American security guard Richard Jewell saves thousands of lives from an exploding bomb at the 1996 Olympics, but is vilified by journalists and the press who falsely reported that he was a terrorist.

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt5797184/?ref_=nv_sr_srsg_0

Based on the real-life prison break of two political captives, Escape From Pretoria is a race-against-time thriller set in the tumultuous apartheid days of South Africa

Both movies based on real events and well worth a watch.

Think they probably are, & I hope they're uploaded because this is yet another great police series.

Continuing on with Murder 24/7.

Episode 5 has been released on RARBG but no sign of episode 4:wacko:

I'll give it a day or so and then watch on BBCiplayer if it doesn't appear.

Pagan Peak (Der Pass) TV serie

-After a body is found in a staged crime scene near the German-Austrian border, two detectives are sent to investigate. They soon discover more crime scenes with posed victims that resemble pagan rituals.-

I watch it free on Iflix - German / English subtitles.

Like the acting of Nicholas Ofczarek.

Both Spud and Sno D/L's are available on PB. Although they are showing no SEs and no LEs, I had no trouble downloading Spud's version.

"The Invisible Man" (2020)

Seen at the cinema yesterday and we all really enjoyed it. The beginning a little slow, but once it got going, wow...suspenseful, thrilling with a cool twist at the end! Would see it again, but only at a cinema or with a good home surround-sound system. Best scary movie I've seen for a long time.

Thanks Daffy........I watched the movie "Richard Jewell" and thought it very good, and was considering downloading the Pretoria one, but a poor review put me off, so after your feedback I will now download it!

Reviews can be a funny thing,  IMDB gives it 6 out of 10 rating yet their user review calls it boring and only gives it 3 stars  - Guess you got to make up your own mind

A fantastic movie is 12 bridges. It's about a drug deal that goes totally wrong.

One of the gangsters kills plenty of cops and they shut down all 12 bridges to Manhattan.

A brilliant movie.

You  can find the movie on the bay. Trailer here:

21 Bridges..........

I find when I watch some movies that are over 20 years old, they do not hold up well. This one did. Watched it recently, and it was every bit as good as I remember it. And Angelina sure looked good. Amazing how much happens in 21 years. LOL.

Don't know why but this one popped into my head after reading your post. Watched it last night. Still great

Finished watching Murder 24/7.

The last case, 'Cromwell' was very interesting. I agreed with the verdict.

Won't say more, let me know what you think when you've watched all of it.

E04 was on Daily Motion.

The whole series is here also:  https://www.reddit.com/r/UKTVLAND/comments/fcxdtw/murder_247_s01e04/

I thought the verdict could've gone either way TBH.

I wasn't surprised at the outcome.

give it a couple of days...I access these things via Kodi not torrents.

slightly different mechanism....kodi mostly connects you to

hosters from whom you stream the show...using a service called real debrid.

Finished watching the last episode of Hunters last night and enjoyed it, although it seems as if there is a second series planned, which in my opinion, is a shame.

This because the first series was drawing towards what would appear to be a perfect ending, but left itself open for a second series, which judging by the slight preview, would lend itself to the premise of the movie, "The boys from Brazil".

Watched "Villain" and it was a pretty straightforward movie with a bit of violence in it, but very watchable and not untypical of a London gang/crime scene movie.

What was interesting was a key character played by Robert Glenister, complete with London accent, who actually appeared as Albert White in the very good Ben Affleck movie, "Live by Night" with a good Irish accent – – talented folk some of these actors!!!

And if you haven't watched "Live by Night" I can recommend it.

BBC2 Race around the world is back for S2. A bit like the great race, S1 was OK, the wife gave it the thumbs up.

I watched “The corrupted” a UK crime movie, nothing groundbreaking, but not bad. The usual suspects - Barry from “Al Wiedersehen ..” and a few other actors from UK crime dramas, with some good old east end put down lines.
