When photos and videos are too clear they're deemed to be hoaxes. It seems that the blurrier they are the more credibility they have. Go figure. ???? Popular Post JackSinclair
I enjoyed the dry wit in this show. It originated in Oz then the show went to the US - both hilarious imho. 2

Popular Post xylophone
Watched the Oliver Stone movie, "Heaven and Earth" last night as didn't remember much about it, and once again, I was so glad that I did watch it as it was very enjoyable, if not a little "disturbing" in some respects. The actress (are we allowed to say that these days?) who played the lead role of Li Ley was not only very good, but she was stunning in my opinion, a 5 foot tall very beautiful young woman. So I wanted to know more about her and looked up her biography online and, true to the film, she did end up in California, but died in 2017 due to a complication from stomach cancer! Next up will be "Casualties of War" as can't remember anything about that one either. I did watch the Harold Shipman episodes on BBC, or should I say, the first episode, but was bored with it after that and haven't watched any more. Oh, and one more older movie that I enjoyed was, "The Water Diviner" with Russell Crowe, and thought that it tried to put a "truthful aspect" on some of the events and reasons for Gallipoli. Worth a look if you haven't seen it, or perhaps another look if you have! 2

Oh - lol - Sorry, I didn’t occour that they were Dutch subs. I found that in a forum, people asking the same question as you, the first lot of subs were translated but 3/4 were yet to be done. That was a couple of weeks ago. The new season is on Netflix worldwide on 9th November, sadly, we will just have to wait.

That's a good movie I keep in my library, seen it several times. Based on a true story, it hits a lot of things but does the best job at portraying the kind of situation an Asian woman can get into with some random, obtuse Western serviceman of questionable stability. Casualties Of War is too depressing ever to watch again and I didn't want to be reminded of it. Edited October 20, 2020 by BigStar

giddyup
Unhinged is worth a watch.
