Tested it recently by calling the number from another line and it goes to a fast busy indicating out of order line. CS isn't even trying to fix - just ask "What is your phone model" and then the 40 or 60% compatible which previously caused them to say "It will work" (and it did) now say "It will not work". T-Mobile upgraded lines to 5G and Ultra isn't trying to make older phones compatible - instead trying to sell new phones. Too bad. It gave me a US SIM/phone # and it accepts promo SMS (short codes). I guess I have the option of trying to find a compatible local burner phone with which it will work - if such exists. Could insist on testing Ultra SIM before purchase.
