After this fiasco, (Fiasco definition is - a complete failure.) I don't see the Democrats attempting to do this again. I would be willing to bet they wish they never got into this one.

You never know with Trump ability to stumble into controversy. That’s the nature of the man stupidity and arrogance.

Keep in mind this is Trump’s first impeachment.

Congress are still actively seeking access to evidence and witnesses that may well lead to a second impeachment.

Those in the Washington bubble may think that a good idea, but I'll warrant the voters may have a different opinion.

Yes, Democrats won the House in 2018 by a slim margin through Democrats claiming to be moderate and willing to work with Trump to help America.  Those moderate Dems did just the opposite -- under orders from Nancy.  Many of those moderates can see into the future as a result of their town hall meetings during the Christmas recess.  With Trump on the ballot in 2020, it is far more likely that many Americans in those purple districts that voted for Dem moderates, will vote straight ticket Republican after the impeachment fiasco.

It is to laugh.

Democrats won House midterms by largest margin since Watergate scandal, report says

The One Issue That’s Really Driving the Midterm Elections

Ask voters what they care about, and they’re very clear.

Here’s an amazing political statistic: In 2016, the Affordable Care Act came up in just 10 percent of pro-Democrat campaign advertisements and 16 percent of pro-Republican ones. This year, it came up in more than half of Democratic ads and nearly a third of those for Republicans.

Those numbers, which come from the Wesleyan Media Project, help demonstrate the way the law’s politics have gone topsy-turvy and its political sway has grown since President Donald Trump came into office.

House Republican retirements are continuing to pile up, a sign many members aren’t enjoying their time in the minority and don’t think they’ll return to power any time soon.

Who's truth? I suspect the "truth" Dems will accept is not what the GOP will accept.

Far as I can see, the anti Trumpers have determined that he is guilty, even if nothing so far has been found that would warrant a conviction.

It doesnt matter qho will or wont accept it. If you wont call witnesses you are hiding the truth. The public deserves to know.

I also see hannity has threatened to release the phone numbers of any senator that calls for witnesses.

Repubs are very afraid and the public deserves to know why.

Why would it matter what you think voters will do. What matters is they do their constitutional duty.

Thanks for the facts reflecting just the opposit of was just said. Some keep repeating oping the lie becomes truth. Nancy's Hosue will soon gain many more seat than the majority they have, facts back up this assertion. Not empty repetition which is all they have.

McConnell, has gotta be laughing his ass off, especially, if the whole witness can of worms gets opened. The best thing that can happen for Democrats is this ends quickly next week. The Leftist scumbag game is over!

The Orwellian processes of trump and his supporters is truly mind boggling. How anyone can keep on supporting trump I do not know. Nearly everyday trump or his sycophants are tweeting or using talking points which are destructive for a free and open society. A recent example...

I would be interested to see links that show senior Dem representatives have stooped as low as trump in his personal attacks

+ 1 plus I want to see TBL produce evidence of Dem lying as much as Trump or having world leaders laughing at his POTUS. He back the wrong horse but too proud to admit.
