I think he has written it 1948, only some years after WW II.

Hey, a 50% overnight reduction in the house, according to my PM 2.5 monitor, is nothing to laugh at.  It is not perfect but it is a lot better, in my opinion.


Admittedly, recent hazardous levels have sorely tested, though not completely dimmed, VF's cheerful, optimistic glow.😇
