I don’t understand why Thai police put assumptions and random guesses to the media without any evidence?

Have your assumptions but keep them in house!

If they really know the guy why is he not arrested? Too ‘influential’

Maybe because he is not around.

Sanook seems to have all the answers ??

A lack of an arrest by the police seems to prove otherwise !!

Influential local..

Can kiss this one goodbye.

Seriously though.

Will be interesting to see how the end result will be.

A little bit more than 3 wais and 500 baht fine I think.

If this source knew who the killer was according to this post He would already be in custody. This is pure speculation Nothing more

Not necessarily.  Evidence that media or the public are not privy to is usually kept close to the chest of the investigators.

The suspect, although apparently known to police, would most likely be in hiding  with police following up any leads to find where he is.  That's coming from 20 years of personal experience.

MMM and the kids cant put money in a machine and try win a prize because thats gambling which is illegal.

But going online makes it all different?

The source said that the shooter had built up considerable debts from online football gambling.

Which (also off topic slightly) gives rise to mention of the set top box and banning them...

Something definitely amiss in the thai system.

Why don't you read it again. The 'source' said, while police said there were plenty of developments but they were remaining tight lipped about what they were.

If he's extremely well connected as suggested, they're probably out looking for Burmese construction workers of a similar height and build.

Was thinking the same. Perhaps this one has been a little over used.

But what the heck ..... it’s worked before.

Must have had a serious brain injury as well.

Yes.... because if true, only the truly insane or stupid would take their own registered gun, their own motorcylce and their own rare and marked can to gun down people in front of security cameras.
