Lacessit
I want to have a scooter freighted from Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai. Due to my age, I don't feel I could concentrate successfully for that length of journey, and it would be exhausting. Any advice on couriers who would do this from their base in Chiang Mai, delivered to a condo in Chiang Rai, would be welcome.

Gweiloman
CM-CR-CM return is about 450 kms. Petrol (diesel) alone would cost 1,000 baht. So a man with a van would charge no less than 3,000 baht when taking into account wear and tear plus labour/time. Sounds about right?

More like 380 km via the 118. 7 hours @300 baht/hr, yes, could be in the ball park. Don't know what Thai Post uses, multiple cargo in a big truck should be cheaper. When bike arrives CM PO, just get a ride over ... friend, family, by mocy-taxi, or what-not. No problems.
