I agree with you. Americans are mind numbingly idiotic when it comes to words like Marxist and Socialist, it appeals to the lowest common denominator in US society to have these simplistic hate words to throw around, without - apparently- the slightest understanding of what they mean.

However please don't use that phrase "He is on the right side of history". Anyone who has watched Corbyn destroy the electability of the Labour Party, while at the same time being lauded as "On the right side of history" by his myopic followers, gets rather ill when they hear it.

Personally I think Warren is better, broadly the same policies, more intelligent, passionate without the wild gleam in the eyes that Bernie has perfected, and younger, and more healthy. All the same I would happily take Bernie, who is a decent principled man if that is what the US votes for.

Please let it be Warren.

Bernie is by far the best candidate to move the US forward.

Unfortunately most of the voters are not mature enough or intelligent enough to see it.

A voting public that elected gwb twice and the current train wreck do not have any credibility.

Careful, in both cases, (at least with BWBush's 1st term) the American voters did not elect.

For those who are ignorant supporters of The Donald. Any thinking member of the working middle class recognizes that Sanders history of fighting for the working middle class, his proposal to raise the minimum wage, institute a national healthcare program like the other developed nations have had for some time, addressing the need to reduce the cost of gaining more knowledge through higher education and protecting Social Security/Medicare all address the justified frustration/anger which resulted in he Donald being in the White House.

I enthusiastically supported Sanders and contributed to his campaign for the nomination 2016, The only problem I have an issue is with his age. If he got the nomination I would certainly vote for him . In the general I would have to see who is his VP, because IMO he will have a hard time completing two terms. I like Andrew Yang, he hits all the points I have talked about in the past, and understands the new economy. Go to YouTube and listen to his interviews , tell me what you think.

Anyway the next few months will be interesting and crucial to the future of our country.

We are agreed on much here. My VP favorite has not been made but I agree the choice is critical even for one term as the direction will be put in place. In 2016 I was not given a viable choice and so voted for neither nominee. My vote is earned or I am sidelined. The choice for either party is to give me the policies supported by Sanders.

That ship has sailed now that Warren has committed political harakiri on live TV. Bernie's spike up is due to the fact Warren is basically finished. Warren played the desperation card and it blew up in her face. The circular firing squad has its first suicide bomber in its ranks now. That moment will be played over and over looking back at the campaign. It is the height of what Warren offers. Given her record of lying and bending the truth over and over I believe Bernie. Wrong time to play the man hater card for her.

Apparently Bernie raised more than $4 million immediately after this debacle. The moment Steyer pops up and says hi to Bernie is the best part. Yeah good. Okay. haha

I too like Yang for VP. Typically a swing state candidate is chosen.
