Bangkok’s Samsen Road the most polluted today

Samsen Road, in the Phra Nakhon district of Bangkok, was identified as the most polluted of the 56 areas experiencing dust above the safe level, with airborne PM2.5 measured at 91 microns today, according to the Pollution Control Department (PCD).

New measures being proposed to contain air quality crisis

Couple charged for making porn in university

A man and a woman, aged 30 and 24 years respectively, turned themselves in to officers at Bangkhen Police Station, admitting that they are the individuals who appeared in a video clip shot in a university and are the ones who posted it online via the website pornhub.com.

House Speaker orders probe into alleged proxy voting using other MPs’ ID cards

Mysterious decomposing corpse found in sugarcane plantation

Thung Fon Police Station was notified on Monday (January 20) of a corpse found in a sugarcane plantation. A joint team of police officers, medical personnel from the Thung Fon Hospital and rescue volunteers was dispatched to the scene.

Disney+ is launching a week early in the UK and parts of Europe

437 govt schools to be closed Wednesday to tackle severe air pollution

The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) announced 437 government schools would close on Wednesday, January 22, to reduce the number of vehicles on the road and the impact on the health of children and young people after the Thai Meteorological Department said any closure for 1-2 days could help tackle the bad air quality.

PHUKET:-- A 38-year-old Thai woman has been charged with theft and fraud after she rented a car and then rented the same car out to a Chinese woman living on the island – and then stole the car from the Chinese woman, while the car contained personal items valued at more than B100,000.

Transport's FY2021 budget gets the greenlight

Value of food exports to increase 5.4% this year

The National Food Institute forecasts that the value of food exports this year will be US$34.9 billion (Bt1.05 trillion), up 5.4 per cent year on year, according to its president Anong Paijitprapapon.
