PHUKET:-- A 10-year-old boy from China suspected of being infected with the Wuhan coronavirus is in isolation at Vachira Phuket Hospital after he landed in Phuket on a direct flight from Wuhan with his parents last night (Jan 21).

Daylight robbery: Bangkok bank heist nets unknown amount

Respiratory problems raise concerns in Phitsanulok

The Phitsanulok Provincial Health Office reported on Wednesday (January 22) that the level of pollutants in the air had risen to 57- 92 micrograms per cubic metre (µg/m3), exceeding the official standard of 50mcg per cubic metre and far beyond the WHO standard of 25mcg.

Bangkok on alert for Chinese New Year fire hazards

BANGKOK (NNT) - Thai-Chinese communities in Thailand will be celebrating the Chinese New Year this weekend, during which many candles and much incense will be lit, along with the ritual burning of gold and silver paper, any of which could pose a fire hazard and a source of air pollution. The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration is this year asking the general public to reduce such activities to minimize emissions, and provide guidance on fire prevention.
