What has conveniently been forgotten is the development of Gen IV nuclear reactors, because the greenies start farting blood by even the thought of it. "Greens" are the worst enemy of earth. The new reactors would solve the energy problems easily. Luckily at least Bill Gates is on it: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TerraPower

Yes, varying views on nuclear because when it goes wrong it goes very wrong. France depends on it, next door Germany is backing away. But if Bill Gates is anywhere near it, I'm against it. Try switching a nuclear power plant off and on again...

Anyway, hydrogen is a more easily sustainable power of the future, 'cept there's not enough profit margin in something that occurs naturally.

What about those old diesel black smoke belching Bangkok buses like the one in the picture above will they be replaced with electric ones?

You would be surprised that those diesel do less than a normal car, otherwise they wouldn't be on the roads across the world!!!!!! One thing here in Thailand is the Freaking garbage dumps, their smoke stack are maybe 5 stories high and the wind just blows it down or across any apartment building near by. The stack should be higher n they could as scrubbers like they have else where in the USA.

It is ridiculous. All these construction projects they are sponsoring and normal construction, it is virtually impossible to cut out any real amounts of dust. But exhaust fumes, plastic waste and rubbish burning, factory and coal emissions and sugar cane burning can be!!

I can just image, a thousand Dyson vacuum cleaners lined up at vulnerable locations, well the line of boats reving their nuts off worked to increase river water flow .......:whistling:

Construction sites that produce too much dust will now face a tax as the government tries to tackle the dust particles crisis, the Minister of Finance Uttama Savanayana said.

Clearly, who can be talking about taxes? The biggest one, the finance minister, while you're at it, charge salty taxes to all the factories that produce significant quantities of smoke that is harmful to health! It would make much more sense!

What plan do you have for all the old buses, trucks and other cars that are pounding the air?
Have you seen the new American sport before? Modify the big diesel engines so that they make a thick and continuous black smoke, well in Thailand there are many disciples of this <deleted>!

Yet another do nothing, all in the future, ineffective statement to bluff the sick, unhealthy and poorly informed masses into believing this government actually cares.

Send in the clowns.

More revenue with little result against pollution waste of time.

Just stop all work at the construction site until things are as they should be.... that'll get some attention.

Curious what size is the particles are coming construction sites.  If it’s concrete, rock dust, or dried soil, it seems that it would not be as dangerous as burning as the particles would be larger.  I’m guessing it’s also a small percentage in comparison to everything else
