Air purifiers installed around Victory Monument

Recommended Posts

Well, it would make a good photo prop: wear your PM2.5 face mask and hold up a Corona beer.  “Having a wonderful time—wish you were here”.

These have worked so well, they've not only brought down the pollution around Victory Monument, but throughout the whole city!

Where will they burn the dirty filters?

No need, they take them out and use compressed air to blow the particles out.

Just kidding, nobody is going to go so far as to check filters. Thais don't do maintenance.

Regular consumption of sticky mango rice will cure everything and immune to pollution in 7 days,  we vow.

That plan was scuttled when it turned out the heaters were made in Germany and after Brexit the tariffs make them too expensive

The purifiers will be switched on daily from 5am to 12am, and 2pm to 8pm.

5am to 12am (Midnight) - why turn the on again from 2pm until 8pm when they are already on?

To whom it may concern 12 pm is noon 12 am is midnight!  There is much to be said for using the 24 hour clock!
