Travel/vacation health insurance in Thailand

Will be vacationing in Thailand (Bangkok, chaing mia and rai areas) for about 35 to 40 days. Looking for a short term healthcare medical insurance that will be accepted at most hospitals or doctors. Any companies one would recommend? I think "local" Thai health insurance would be better when doing the traveling we'll be doing from city to village etc around the northern region. Not looking at repatriation insurance but should I get in an accident or stub my toe.

Sorry in advance if some think this is silly. Did a search but did not find a similar topic.

Travel insurance is relatively cheap i would get that from your home country if you haven't left already, i wouldn't get a Thai one. Often they have deductibles so won't cover minor stubbing toes.

Most insurance you have to pay first and claim back and it's a pain

As a Thai citizen your husband is automatically covered under the universal health scheme of the government but would have to get care (if not emergency) in the government hospital that coevres wherever he is listed in a tabian ban (will be wherever he was listed when last lived i n\Thailand...often parents home province)

You can investigate these to start with

Need to check age cut off, some don't enroll over 60. And need to check if they have direct payment arrangements with Thai hospitals
