LONDON (Reuters) - Athletics’ ruling body will tighten regulations governing shoe technology, two sources familiar with the matter said, after Nike’s popular Vaporfly brand helped re-write running records and sparked debate about whether it was “technological doping.”

SET dips amid negative factors

BEIJING (Reuters) - A new coronavirus that has killed 26 people in China was confirmed in Europe for the first time on Friday as it spreads despite Chinese attempts to quarantine the city at the heart of the outbreak.

Govt wants switch to gasohol E20 by mid-year

The Energy Ministry is pushing to have all vehicle operators who use benzene to switch from gasohol 91 to gasohol E20 by mid-year. Minister Sonthirat Sonthijirawong said on Friday (January 24) the price of palm oil had stabilised somewhat after the ministry promoted the use of gasohol B10 as the preferred diesel fuel.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The Pentagon said on Friday that 34 service members had been diagnosed with traumatic brain injury following missile strikes by Iran on a base in Iraq earlier this month, a number higher than the military had previously announced.

PHUKET: Separate raids by police and an anti-narcotics task force over the past week netted seven suspects along with 575.12g 5g of crystal meth (ya ice), 3,200 pills methamphetamine pills (ya bah). The raids also saw a handgun and bullets seized, along with a pickup truck and six motorbikes with a total estimated value of B690,000.
