Can you use a Thai Driving Licence in UK?

I saw this on the UK DVLA page. It states anyone who passed their driver's licence in..

Visitors that passed their driving test in Northern Ireland, the European Union or European Economic Area can drive any type of vehicle listed on their full, valid, current licence.

...obviously this needs updating WEF 1 February. (I passed my test in UK, in 1975).
