Yes but God does not charge interest. We can extend the loan by wearing masks during a pandemic.

Pity thailand not 100% in control of this idiot Junta disease and the corruption virus .
Corruption seems be spreading faster than the chinese wuhan flu and is worse than even peak of he we will not mention times .

It doesn't have to 'spread',it's already in the blood.

Speaking of fast rising exponential curves, Thailand just jumped to 14 confirmed cases. But 5 of 6 new cases are from Hubei and all from China. So,  Prayuth's Iron screen at the airport is letting a lot through.

The common flu kills 12000 to 61000 people in the US alone.

SARS at it worst 800.

There is very little reason to worry, the PM is right.

We've had a proper pandemic in 2009, which killed up to 500,000 people, again, flu.

Was that the end of the world? No. All those people soiling their pants are just victims of mass media hysteria.

Just an observation/ question; if it's not a military government why is the PM wearing a uniform? Most generals who ascent to civilian power hang up their uniforms. If nothing else, the optics are bad. It makes one wonder if the old adage is true, "if it walks like a duck, quacks like and duck and looks like aa duck....then it might just be a duck".

I say “possibly” because so far, not only do we not know how dangerous it is, we can’t know. Outbreaks of new viral diseases are like the steel balls in a pinball machine: You can slap your flippers at them, rock the machine on its legs and bonk the balls to the jittery rings, but where they end up dropping depends on 11 levels of chance as well as on anything you do.

The message is that there are no "knowns." There are things we know that we know. There are known unknowns. That is to say there are things that we now know we don't know. But there are also unknown unknowns. There are things we do not know we don't know.

Donald Rumsfeld

What we do know is that Donald Rumsfeld was a proven liar who sent poor Colin Powell to the UN with a vial of white powder that was most likely bagel flour. All in order to lie to us and conjure up a false reason to justify an illegal war. Let's not forget that Rumsfeld tried to use that scare mongering precisely because he was in the business of scaremongering in order to raise fears over Iraq, which in retrospect turned out to be completely, wholly and utterly unjustified.

I rest my case.

We should definitely worry more about another Rumsfeld appearing than the extremely unlikely prospect of coronavirus world annihilation.

Again, the flu kills 12,000 to 61000 in the US alone. Each year. Sars killed just over 800. We had a real pandemic in 2009, again flu, which killed up to 500,000 people. It was not the end of the world.

Your risk analysis , your call , as they say here how you personally respond is entirely up to you. There is no right answer at the moment because we simply don't have enough facts about this virus at this time. There is no harm in being careful , modifying your behaviour if you can and wish to and being alert. You have mentioned annihilation not me I am as certain as I can be that that is nowhere in the predictive mix.

Wow and l thought he said last week the Chinese were going to save Thailand's tourist industry free visa,s, now what's going to happen, maybe they will come for the clean Air, or a driving experience of a lifetime, or visit a temple or national park covered in litter or rubbish, or pay police some lunch money, Thailand is sinking faster than the titanic but business as usual welcome to Thailand

Sure, wash your hands three times a day, wear a mask to the mall, if you want. No harm, true.

We do know what real pandemics, like the one in 2009 have caused. Life went on much as before.

But okay, wash your hands. No harm, true.

Lol, compared to the half a million deaths caused by the common flu world wide EVERY year that's a real massive concern.

Give it time. The "common flu", aka influenza, has had years to spread to the populations and has become part of daily life. In a few weeks it could be spread all over and then you'd see more deaths than from influenza.

Not.

You truly belong here.

Sometimes the ignorance on this board is mind boggling.
