The police only seem to use theirs for escort duty rather than responding to incidents, which is quite telling about their priorities. In reality they are the big fish corrupt criminals that are inept at governing. This is the real story that they want to keep from the Thai people. However, most Thai people know this. They know their government is bad. And the civil service has been turned into an instrument of the military takeover. I just hope the bile that foreigners feel for the Thai authorities doesn't spill over to the Thai people who are the biggest victims in this whole situation. If you have an Android phone, search on here for the link to download the APK and sideload it.
