No it was the fault of Tony Blair doing the EU's bidding. You are not a Labourite are you.

It was fault of UK's government, which UK voted for. Brexit is simply going to increase the number of 'unwanted' immigrants to the UK, instead of the working immigrants, who keep the UK's wheels running.

Who is to blame? Nigel Farage, The Monopoly man and Boris Johnson are to blame, along with all the grassroot soldiers (note: not real soldiers, but wannabes), the brexiteers.

Job well done or perhaps not.

Schengen is open borders policy, which is very well liked freedom for European people. UK never was part of Schengen. UK never had open borders. UK had and still have her own border policies when it comes to asulym seekers. That is not going to change, unless UK changes her laws.

The European people can now keep their open borders and shengen to themselves. Thankfully, we are not part of the EU now and will not be coerced into accepting that principle or Freedom of Movement that would have eventually happened had we not voted for Brexit. We also won't have to be allocated any of Merkel's million, or any of the others who would probably be given the right to roam around the whole EU with some form of EU travel document.

Open Borders are still causing us a problem with illegals and bogus refugees & asylum seekers, who have long managed to pass through various EU nations on their way to our shores. Where was the provocative photo of all those men in that poster taken - an open or closed border? It was a dire warning for what would have happened if we did not Brexit.

I see that you still not understood what change Brexit actually did for the UK. UK no longer have friends in the Europe. Friends who have protected UK from getting masses of immigrants entering to the British islands.

These wannabe immigrants, who wish to get to the UK are no longer European problem. There is no longer reason try to keep them from entering the UK as UK voted to leave the EU.

That's all fine. Now keep your promises of making Brexit work for the better. All this is on you.

You are still 'in the dark' about the whole Brexit subject aren't you.
We never had many friends in the EU and not enough to protect us from the immigrants. How did so many of them travel to the French coast? Apart from the Francophone ones, the EU countries know the migrants destination is the UK, so many were either helped on the way or at least not obstructed.

You are quite wrong. You were feed, by the nasty press, the idea that UK had no friends in the EU.

The reality was quite different. UK was well loved member with friendly ties with most of the other EU countries, if not with all.

That's why pretty much all EU nations expressed their sadness when UK decided to leave the union of European countries. Sadness, not joy.

But life goes on. Brexit is now done, so it's time to bear the consequences this huge change brings.

Not interested in your attempts to divert to migrants' legal status. Your opinion was that they would not be permitted entry to the UK via Open Borders. In fact they have already passed through much of the EU open borders to reach UK shores, legally or illegally. If we had not exited the EU that would have eventually changed and we would have been forced to accept many more. Thank god for Nigel, Brexit and St George.

The Garuniad is a Remainer rag loved by loony lefty liberals, so simply not credible. I've no need to take it up with TV or anybody else. Does the management of TV publish a list of credible sources? Thought not.

Again just a number of opinions, including a false claim. To repeat UK did not nor does have have a policy of Open Borders. Again to repeat The Guardian is a credible source for news. Only you know why you repeatedly post misinformation. However, no more response to you on this matter as you refuse to acknowledge facts.

Can you tell me where the 47% of applicants refused are now. Or is that a silly thing to say too?

No idea, but will say it not the declined asylum seeker fault,  rather HMG not having sorted policy / resources for enforcement. There are ongoing difficulties to deport all as some countries refuse to accept deportees due to not having government to government agreements in-place. Some go into hiding as illegals etc. Cherry picking by you as the percentile you quoted only applies to certain ages/ origin. e.g. from memory 90% of Syrians are granted asylum.

What is this turn of the winds going towards "Get me out of here, I'm the victim of this society" coming from?

You destroyed what was good and now you want to blame it on your rough upbringing?

You are still the bad guys and that will never change.

How's Portugal doing.......?  ????
