tomx2
Hi. I left Thailand and returned to New York December 2019. Before leaving I purchased a 1 year Health insurance from Aetna. Will be applying for a Non immigrant O-A visa in March 2020 at the NY Royal Thai Embassy With the expectation of entering Thailand April 1st. (Q). Since my Health Insurance will be valid until December 2020 (10 months). Will I still be granted a O-A visa having only 10 months health insurance? Thanks. TC. ubonjoe
I think they will issue the visa that will be valid for a year from the date of issue. One year of insurance is not mentioned in the requirements. https://www.thaicgny.com/ภาษาอ-งกฤษ-english-version/visa-service/doc-non-im-oa/ But you would only be stamped into for the country up to the day your insurance ends by immigration when you use the visa for entry.
