Will they be selling these at the departure lounges?

Yes, you buy these like anything else, tax free. What an utter bs decision again from the Thai "government".

showing medical certificates, however genuine, will not solve any problem. in fact it give false sense of relief. due to the incubation period of the corona virus carriers may not show physical symptoms at the time of the medical examination. such carriers may show symptoms while they are in thailand and possibly infect others, being in comfort that they have a clear medical exam.

The Chinese government is lying big scale.

Trust those medical certificates, trust the Chinese, you will see how you end.

Now it's just another 10 -14 days left and you will see and understand, hopefully.

hope not but the possibility does exist.

Desperation

The word is admirably chosen.
Requesting an official document from nationals of a country where corruption reigns is certainly the best thing to do.

it is hopeless :post-4641-1156693976:

RE - Thailand Requires Chinese Tourists to Show Medical Certificates

* Anyway it will not be valid longer than the doctor use to sign the certificate as you may be infected when you pass the waiting room on your way out, on the way to the airport, in the airport and as well in the plane prior to arrive in LOS ...

Just another attempt to cover officials backsides, show they are "doing something". Would this do anything to slow virus spread? Why do we ask such foolish questions? Of course not

Amulet sellers need to start side business of selling pocket sized posey packs.

I think this is a more sensible approach rather than a blanket, racist ban like what some countries do.

There are many people with various diseases from all the world, we shouldn't ban them just because a small percentage has that virus or disease. Eg.

There are many countries with HIV carriers, but we don't see any ban from these countries... why?

Clearly, this is racially-motivated by certain anti-Chinese countries.

Then explain how the certificate will identify persons carrying the disease during the incubation period.

And explain why the Chinese of Hong Kong and Singapore are racist for wanting all persons, regardless of race, to be banned from entry?

And if China chooses to self-quarantine by blocking all flights in and out? Would that be "racist"? Sensible?

China is as huge as the whole of Europe and twice the population.

If the epicenter is in London, it is not racist to ban all tourists from Europe?

A country is a political boundary and not ethnic boundary.

FYI, China blocked only one province which is equivalent to one country in Europe in terms of land mass and population.
