Sansara has signed a deal to sponsor ten children and two coaches from the local community to train and learn at the Black Mountain Hua Hin Football Academy (BMHHFA). The players are all pupils at Wang Bost and Nong Hieng Schools.

The boys and girls will all get free kits, free boots and free training at BMHHFA which is located in the Hua Hin International School, just a stone’s throw from the exclusive luxury apartments and golf course pool villas currently under construction at Sansara.

Sansara is also sponsoring two coaches from the local community to come and join the Black Mountain team, which is led by former England international Gary Stevens. One of them is a teacher at Wang Bost school, the other is a teenager from the Hin Lek Fai area.

Sansara is a mix of luxury living and 5-star service ideal for people looking to spend time with an active community. The villas and condos all overlook the world renowned Black Mountain golf course and the development received numerous accolades at the Thailand Property Awards.

Hans Van Steertegem, the General Manager at Sansara, says that he wants his project to be at the heart of the local community,

“The facilities around Sansara are fantastic and our residents have access to the golf course, swimming pools, tennis courts and, of course, the football academy. But if you look at the local government schools you see that their facilities are not so good so we are proud to support this scheme and give these children the opportunity to learn football on a perfect playing surface with a famous former player like Gary Stevens.”

He also hopes that sponsoring coaches to come and learn at BMHHFA will have a long term benefit on the local community,

“Hopefully these two coaches can learn from Gary Stevens and his team and that knowledge will stay with them for the rest of their coaching careers. Every day I see children playing in bare feet on dirt pitches at the schools in this area and Sansara wanted to do something to help these kids and give them the chance to follow their football dreams.”

Gary Stevens, Head Coach of BMHHFA, sees a real synergy between the academy and Sansara,

“Sansara is a really exciting project that will appeal to people with healthy lifestyles just like football does. Not everyone is fortunate enough to live on a luxurious, top end development like this though and it’s great to see that Hans and his team are committed to having a positive impact on the entire community.”
