PHUKET:-- The Krabi Provincial Public Health Office (KPHO) has denied reports that 100 people in Krabi are being held in isolation on suspicion of being infected with the Wuhan coronavirus.

The reports are wrong, they say. Only five people are under observation, the Krabi Health Office said.

The news came at a press conference at Krabi Provincial Hall on Saturday (Feb 1), headed by Krabi Vice Governor Somkhuan Khan-Ngern together with Krabi Hospital Director Dr Supoj Phukaoluan and KPHO representative Dr Wasin Thiankingkaew.

If there were even 500, do you think they would reveal the truth ?

Well, if reports said 500, there would have been 25 under observation, if i got the math right.

A post on Thai social media by a Thai medical doctor said that the true number of coronavirus cases was "higher" than officially announced.  No elaboration on "higher" was provided.

So a law-suit will be coming shortly tracking the "fake news" instigator?

can anyone spot which one is the Health official

can anyone spot which one went to school

as long as Thailand continues to be openly run by these uneducated (deleted) it will never change

what needs to happen in Thailand is something that has never happened before, educated people need to replace these wooded tops with the backing of the people

how does that happen - very ugly

Who are you to know if he was educated? I'm most certain he holds at the least a university degree.. Almost all thais do if they paid their tuition fees on time
