Captain Monday Posted February 5, 2020 Share Posted February 5, 2020 I got it in Chiang Mai. TM30 was required. I had to go back to my bank to get some letter. Tax ID issued on the spot about 6 weeks "cheque" was mailed to my condo, allowing me to go to a certain bank to apply for the tax refund. That took about 1 hour involving the Bank giving me a temporary ATM card to get money form their ATM. Felt like I managed to claw something back from the elephants maw.
