One eyed dog "like a monkey" born in Thailand - but no one mentions the lottery!

4pm1.jpg

MCOT reported that a one eyed dog had been born in Chachoengsao, a province east of Bangkok.

The dog was one of a larger litter that was born to a dog owned by Somjai Phoommaman who posted of the experience on Facebook.

The strange new arrival had a crest above its only eye and a mouth like a monkey.

Perhaps problematical for a dog, it had no nose.

But it was alive and well and all the neighbors wanted it.

No way, said Somjai, who said that he would look after it.

So far it was alive and well and he had consulted a vet.

MCOT said that there were plenty of stories abroad of dogs living to adulthood who had one or even three eyes.

Thaivisa notes that the one really strange feature of this story is that no mention was made of the lottery.

Strange births usually have Thais clamoring for lottery tickets as they seen as auspicious omens.

Great, another advertisement enticing epicenter Coronavirus throngs.  No doubt eating one eyed, noseless dog, is an ancient sought after remedy.  Big RMB back in the motherland markets....

From what I've seen of Thai soi dogs, in time it will smell pretty bad!

Poor little baby, hope his life isn't difficult.

With a hearty diet of left over rice, it will thrive.

There might be another eye and a nose - we just can't see them

This dog might see stardom in a future "star wars" movie or "men in black"

I never understand why there are so many animal birth deformities here, something to do with pesticides perhaps ??

"My dog's got no nose."

"How does it smell?"

"Terrible!"

Hopefully, that was sarcasm. Dogs are  carnivores. Diets heavy in carbs and starch kill them. Common dog foods are filled with useless grains as filler. One of the worst thing to feed dogs and cats.
